京都・清水焼の祭典「清水焼の郷まつり」が3年ぶりに戻ってきました。従来は出店者の産地を限定することなく開催していましたが、今回からは京焼・清水焼に携わる事業者だけが陶器市に変わります。だから、今まで以上に清水焼の魅力を感じられる催しになるのではないでしょうか。10月21日（土）には時代祭も開催されるため、一緒に楽しむのもおすすめです。

個人的にはこれからの季節に重宝する日本酒（燗酒）を飲むための酒器を調達しようと思っています。陶器市には伝統的な事業者だけでなく、個人で出店するアーティストも多く、貴重なアイテムも手に入るかもしれませんよ。また、テイクアウトを中心としたフード事業者やキッチンカーが20店舗出店するエリアもあり、京都の食も一緒に楽しむことができます。

初めて訪れる人にとっては会場へのアクセスが分かりにくいため、タクシーに乗ることをオススメします。京都のタクシー運転手であれば迷うことなく会場まで運んでくれると思います。

 開催概要

“Kiyomizuyaki no Sato Festival” will be held from October 21 for the first time in three years! You can also enjoy Kyoto’s food at the food corner!

The Kiyomizuyaki Festival, a festival of Kyoto and Kiyomizuyaki pottery, returns for the first time in three years. In the past, the festival was held without limiting the production area of stalls, but from this year, the pottery market will be changed to include only businesses involved in Kyoto and Kiyomizuyaki pottery. Therefore, the event will be more attractive than ever before, and since the Jidai Matsuri will be held on Saturday, October 21, it is recommended to enjoy the event together.

Personally, I plan to procure sake cups for drinking sake (heated sake), which will come in handy in the coming season. There are many traditional businesses as well as individual artists who open their own stalls at the pottery market, so you may be able to pick up some valuable items. There will also be an area with 20 food businesses and kitchen cars, mainly for take-out, so you can enjoy Kyoto’s food together.

For first-time visitors, access to the venue can be confusing, so we recommend taking a cab. A Kyoto cab driver will be able to bring you to the venue without hesitation.
