京都の二条城では2024年3月8日（金）から4月7日（日）まで「二条城桜まつり2024」を開催します。

昼間には文化体験企画やキッチンカーなど様々なイベントが用意され、京都の名産品が揃う「京の名産品展」も楽しめます。夜には桜と歴史的な空間を生かしたライトアップが行われ、訪れた皆様を幻想的な雰囲気に誘います。

城内には50品種約300本の桜があり、早咲きから遅咲きまで様々な種類が咲き誇ります。カンヒザクラから始まり、ソメイヨシノ、山桜、枝垂桜、里桜まで、約1か月にわたり見頃の桜を楽しむことができます。

Nijo Castle in Kyoto will host the “Nijo Castle Cherry Blossom Festival 2024” from Friday, March 8 to Sunday, April 7, 2024.

During the daytime, various events such as cultural experience programs and kitchen cars will be prepared, and visitors can also enjoy the “Kyoto’s Specialty Products Exhibition” featuring Kyoto’s specialty products. At night, the castle will be illuminated, taking advantage of the cherry blossoms and the historical space to create a fantastic atmosphere for visitors.

There are approximately 300 cherry trees of 50 varieties in the castle, ranging from early to late bloomers. Starting with kanhizakura cherry trees, someiyoshino cherry trees, mountain cherry trees, weeping cherry trees, and satozakura cherry trees, visitors can enjoy the cherry blossoms at their best for about a month.
